Below is an email alert that was forwarded to Hughes Properties. Please be aware of any suspicious activity in our neighborhood.
"A good friend of my family's house was broken into yesterday
around mid-day. The thieves are knocking first, then if there is no
answer they break in (used a sledgehammer on his door). They were there
for a while and ransack the entire house looking for valuables. They are
using a utility-style bucket truck with no bucket or decals that they
park in your driveway. Actually pretty clever since most people will
assume it is a utility truck and not pay much attention. Please be aware
that these lowlifes are on the prowl in NE Madison county. The
Huntsville police department sent out a similar warning several weeks
ago but did not include the detail that they were using a utility-type
vehicle."
